I've always loved story. I get excited like a six year old at Disney World when I capture 'The Image' that has you written all over it.  And I'm a transformation junkie.

As a military brat and then a missionary for many years, traveling the world, I've gotten to see the best and the worst in people. I've gotten to experience the commonality of our struggles as flesh-wrapped bundles trying to figure out this thing called life. And I've gotten to see how a little bit of hope and a big dose of God can speak to the very best, the very essence of who we were meant to be - how it can change us profoundly.

We are all Cinderella's in various stages of transformation from servant to princess. Or servant to prince. We all have greatness stored up inside us, waiting to come out. Wanting to come out. Sometimes someone just needs to show us that it's possible. To shift the mirror back towards us one more time - if we will just.be.brave - so we can take a peak and finally see what we've been longing to see all along. The dream of who we were meant to be come true. Bona fide beauty staring back at us. Woman? Man? Child? Didn't you know you were created to be stunning?

So that's what I'm here for, armed with a camera and words. To tell stories - my story, the stories in my head, and most importantly, your story. Because I believe it needs to be told.

This is my invitation to you. Let's get together. With a camera. The page. And preferably coffee. Let's swap stories of transformation - crying, laughing, cringing at the messiness of it all. Let’s be real, remain hopeful, and look for the best in ourselves and others. I think we just might find a princess or prince in there, after all.
